Media Lesson - 02.09.2013
As I have started to anaylse the film trailers I am noticing a running theme throughout:
- Multiple white and black flashes
- A spooky soundtrack which adds tension
- A wide range of establishing shots
- Lots of close ups and extreme close ups to show the characters emotions
- Plenty of sound effects
- A black screen just at the very end of the film trailer and then a quick action packed few of shots that leave the audience wanting more
- A repetitive use of texts with specific words to scare the audience
